GDPR - Your Data Rights

Your Rights Under GDPR

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Romanian Law 190/2018 grant you specific rights regarding your personal data. This page explains these rights and how to exercise them.

1. Right to Access (Art. 15 GDPR)

You have the right to obtain confirmation whether we process your personal data and, if so, to access that data along with information about how it is processed.

2. Right to Rectification (Art. 16 GDPR)

You can request correction of inaccurate personal data and completion of incomplete data. You can also update most information directly in your account settings.

3. Right to Erasure - Right to be Forgotten (Art. 17 GDPR)

You can request deletion of your personal data in certain circumstances:

• Data is no longer necessary for the purposes it was collected

• You withdraw consent and there is no other legal basis

• Data was unlawfully processed

• Erasure is required for legal compliance

Note: We may be required to retain certain data for legal obligations (tax, accounting records).

4. Right to Restriction of Processing (Art. 18 GDPR)

You can request that we limit how we use your data if:

• You contest the accuracy of the data

• Processing is unlawful but you don't want erasure

• We no longer need the data but you need it for legal claims

• You have objected to processing pending verification

5. Right to Data Portability (Art. 20 GDPR)

You can receive your personal data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format and have it transmitted to another controller.

6. Right to Object (Art. 21 GDPR)

You can object to processing based on:

• Legitimate interests

• Direct marketing (including profiling)

• Scientific, historical research or statistical purposes

7. Rights Related to Automated Decision-Making and Profiling (Art. 22 GDPR)

You have the right not to be subject to decisions based solely on automated processing, including profiling, which produces legal effects or similarly significantly affects you.

Currently, Hola25 does not make automated decisions with legal or significant effects.

8. Right to Withdraw Consent

Where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw it at any time. This does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.

How to Exercise Your Rights

To exercise any of these rights:

1. Send an email to: contact@hola25.com

2. Include your full name and email address associated with your account

3. Clearly state which right you want to exercise

4. Provide identification (to prevent unauthorized access)

We will respond to your request within 30 days (may be extended by 2 months for complex requests).

Right to Lodge a Complaint
