After registration, you must complete your profile with the following information:
Full name: Required, public, editable once every 7 days
Username: Required, public, cannot be changed (only lowercase letters, numbers, underscore)
Bio: Optional, public, editable anytime
Date of birth: Required, public or private (your choice)
Nationality: Required, public
Phone number: Required, always private
Sex: Required, public
Profile picture: Required, public
After completing your profile, you can add:
Languages: Up to 25 languages with proficiency levels
Skills: Up to 25 skills with experience levels
Any user can activate a Teacher Profile, which marks them as a teacher on the platform.
Teaching location: Where they teach (online/offline)
County/Neighborhood: Geographic area
Description: Optional detailed description
Teaching start date: When they started teaching
Availability: Days and times available for teaching
Contact information: How students can reach them
Important: All teacher profile data becomes public. Users are responsible for the data they enter. Problematic content may lead to account suspension.
Only users with an active Teacher Profile can publish listings
Listings can be activated or deactivated (public or private)
Teachers can add demonstration lessons to each listing. Demonstration lessons are publicly visible only for active listings and are hidden when a listing is deactivated.
Listings are displayed in the following order:
Promoted listings (from users with premium subscription)
Non-promoted listings
Within each category, listings are sorted by refresh date (descending).
Users can refresh their listings once every 24 hours
Refreshing moves all user's listings to the top of their category
All listings are refreshed simultaneously

Tutoring sessions do NOT take place within the platform
We do NOT charge payments/commissions for these lessons
We only provide a space for publishing and viewing listings
We are NOT responsible for abuse, fraud, or other problems
Any authenticated user can join the waitlist by selecting:
Category: Socializing or Skill-sharing
Duration: Up to 25 minutes
Skills: For skill-sharing: 1-3 skills from their profile
Host: User in the waitlist waiting for connections
Guest: User who sends a connection request
Host has 15 minutes to accept a connection request
Requests are displayed one at a time, in order received
Quick accept/reject is recommended
After accepting a request, both users are redirected to the call page
Host has 5 minutes to start the call
Maximum duration of a call: 25 minutes
Messages sent during the call are deleted immediately after it ends
During calls, the platform can automatically capture a photo to help you remember your conversations:
Timing: A single photo is captured exactly at the 25th second of each call (not every 25 seconds) - inspired by our platform name "Hola25"
Countdown: You'll see a 5-second countdown starting at second 20, giving you time to prepare
Photo types: Self-only photos (just you) are available to all users. Combined photos (both participants) are a premium feature - only premium users can save combined photos when their partner allows photo sharing.
Privacy control: You can disable call photos or control photo sharing in Settings > Media preferences
Requirements: Your video must be on at second 25 for a photo to be captured
Viewing: Photos are available in your Call History
As host: 25 minutes per day
As guest: 25 minutes per day
This limit applies to total daily minutes, not per call
No limit on daily minutes
Can spend unlimited minutes per day as host or guest
However, a single call still cannot exceed 25 minutes
Total call duration since registration is public (shown on profile)
Skill-specific minutes are shown on profile for added skills
Listings are promoted (appear first)
Unlimited daily call minutes (as host and guest)
Purchase via Stripe: For a specified duration
Through an organization: Granted by organization admins
Granted by platform admin: Special cases
Using a voucher: Promotional codes
