Use reporting for safety or content issues and the contact form for general, technical, account, payment or other billing questions.
At a glance
Who this is for
Anyone submitting a report or request through the public form
Estimated time
4–7 minutes
Outcome
You submit the request, confirm it by email and track it with its unique identifier and password
Before you start
- You have a valid email address that you can check.
- You can describe the issue without passwords, fiscal documents or other sensitive data.
- For an immediate emergency, you use the appropriate emergency service rather than this form.
Steps to follow
Choose a category and describe the issue
Use reporting from the surface where a user or content appears when that action exists. For general, technical, account, payment or other issues, complete the public form with email, category and clear facts.
- Choose the category that best describes the situation.
- Explain what happened and the context needed for review.
Expected result
The form is valid and can create one request under the correct category.
Save the identifier and password
After submission, the screen displays the request identifier and password. Keep them somewhere safe; the password protects public access to the request and should not be posted in another message.
- Copy the identifier and password before closing confirmation.
- Open the link for checking the request with the displayed identifier.
Expected result
You have both details required to check the request later without signing in.
Confirm the request from email
Open the confirmation message sent to the supplied address and follow its exact link. The page can confirm the request, show that it was already confirmed or report incomplete or invalid parameters.
- Check the inbox and Spam folder.
- Use the complete confirmation link once.
Expected result
The request is confirmed and can enter the team's investigation workflow.
Check the request with the saved details
On the tracking page, enter the identifier and password. You can see the current stage — Created, Investigating, More information required or Resolved — together with the team's response and recorded changes.
- Enter the exact identifier and password.
- Read the current stage, response and history.
Expected result
The correct request appears without creating a duplicate request.
Keep public tracking separate from My requests
The public tracking page is for a form request with identifier and password. A private request started by the team appears after sign-in under Account → My requests and has its own reply history.
- Use identifier and password for the public form.
- Sign in for a private message opened by the team.
Expected result
You reach the correct system instead of searching for a private reply with public-report details.
If something does not work
The confirmation email did not arrive.
Check the entered address and Spam folder. If the address was wrong and cannot be confirmed, submit a new request.
I lost the request password.
The password cannot be recovered from the tracking page. If it is no longer in the confirmation or email, create a new request.
The identifier and password are rejected.
Remove accidentally copied spaces and check every character. Do not use the ID of a private request from My requests.
Frequently asked questions
Can I send a request without an account?
Yes. The form requires a valid email address, and tracking details appear after the request is submitted.
Where can I see the response?
Use the identifier and password on the report status page, and also check messages sent to your email address.
What's the difference between reporting and the contact form?
Reporting is for safety or content issues, directly from the surface where the issue appears when that action is available there; the contact form is for general, technical, account or payment questions.
I lost my request password. How do I recover it?
The password is shown once — on the confirmation screen and in the email sent when you submit the request. There's no other way to recover it, so save it; if you lost it, submit a new request.
What do my request's status stages mean?
A request moves through Created, Investigating, More info required and Resolved; the current stage and the team's response appear on the status page.
