Build and share your public tutor profile
Updated August 9, 2026 · 4 min read
Your public tutor page brings together the introduction, listings and experience you choose to publish. Use the editor to complete readiness, arrange content and review the result before sending the link to prospective students.

Who this is for
Tutors preparing and sharing their public page
Estimated time
8–12 minutes
Outcome
A complete public profile, intentionally ordered and checked before sharing
Before you start
- You have a Hola25 account with the tutor role enabled.
- Your profile has a username available for its public address.
- You prepared a photo, a bio of at least 60 characters and one active listing.
Steps to follow
Open the editor and check readiness
From profile settings, open Public page. The checklist verifies a photo, a bio of at least 60 characters and one active listing, with each missing item linking to its correct source.
- Open Profile → Settings → Public page.
- Follow the links for any incomplete items.
Expected result
The editor shows what is complete and what must be resolved before promoting the page.
Choose the cover and section order
Select a cover, reorder sections and hide only optional blocks you do not want to show. Reviews and trust badges remain visible, while statistics appear only when you enable them.
- Choose the most suitable cover option.
- Reorder and enable sections containing useful information.
Expected result
The editor reflects your intended structure without hiding required trust elements.
Complete content at its source
The bio is updated in basic settings, while listings and demo videos come from tutor settings. Education, experience, languages and skills come from your profile; sections that remain empty are not rendered publicly.
- Complete each area through the editor's source link.
- Keep no more than five relevant languages or skills for the public presentation.
Expected result
The page contains coherent information and shows no empty blocks to visitors.
Review the page as a visitor
Open the public `/profesor/username` address and check the photo, description, listings, experience and available actions. Each listing shown here opens its own public page, with a View contact details or Book now button depending on the offer; the profile page itself does not book a lesson directly.
- Open the preview after saving.
- Check the page on desktop and a narrow screen.
Expected result
The public page presents saved information, while its owner also sees the edit action.
If something does not work
I cannot open the public-page editor.
Check that the tutor role is enabled. Accounts without this role see an information message instead of editor controls.
An enabled section does not appear publicly.
Sections without content are omitted. Complete the information at its indicated source, save and reload the public page.
A saved change does not appear immediately in preview.
Save once, then reload after a short wait. Cache refresh is best-effort and may be delayed.
