Pause bookings and block vacation days

The Teacher Hub provides two separate controls for times when you cannot teach: a pause for every new booking and exceptions for individual days. Choose the narrower control when you do not need to hide every platform offer.

Before you start
- You can access the Teacher Hub and offer at least one lesson type that can be booked through Hola25.
- If the action does not appear in the palette, you can use the setting under Booking rules.
Steps to follow
Confirm the pause for new bookings
Open the Teacher Hub palette with Cmd/Ctrl+K, search for “pause”, and choose the pause command. Before saving, the dialog explains that direct-contact listings remain active. If the direct action is unavailable, use Availability → Booking rules and save the pause switch.
- Review the explanation in the dialog.
- Confirm only when you want to stop every new lesson booking through Hola25.
Expected result
The lesson types available in your account stop accepting new bookings, and their offers are hidden.
Block one day when you do not need a full pause
In Availability, select a date from today through 28 days ahead, remove its intervals, and save the exception.
- Open the availability editor.
- Choose the date and save the day with no intervals.
Expected result
The selected day is unavailable while the weekly schedule continues on other days.
Resume bookings after you return
Search for “resume bookings” in the palette and confirm, or turn the pause off in Booking rules. When you resume, Hola25 checks current approvals and rules again.
Expected result
The offer returns only when every product requirement is still satisfied.
If something does not work
The pause or resume command is missing from the palette.
Your profile details and palette actions must load. Use the Booking rules card in the meantime.
The offer remains hidden after resuming.
Check the saved photo, approvals, subjects, rates and availability. Resuming does not bypass any product blocker.
Frequently asked questions
Does the pause cancel scheduled lessons?
No. It stops only new bookings; existing lessons and their reschedules remain available.
How far ahead can I block a day?
The calendar accepts exceptions from today through 28 days ahead, covering the next four weeks.
Will my tutoring listings disappear too?
Not because of vacation pause. Direct-contact listings must be paused separately in My listings; however, they are hidden independently when the saved photo is missing.
Can I block only a few days without pausing everything?
Yes. Leave vacation pause off and save each day as an unavailable exception in the calendar for the next four weeks.
Why did my offer not reappear immediately after resuming?
Resuming preserves every product check. Review the saved photo, approvals, subjects, rates and availability if the offer remains hidden.
