Updated August 19, 2026 · 8 min read
A useful listing explains what you teach, who it is for and how students can contact you. You set the price, schedule and terms of direct collaboration.

Who this is for
Tutor publishing or managing tutoring listings
Estimated time
7–10 minutes for the first listing
Outcome
An active, complete listing checked on its public page
Before you start
- You have a Hola25 account and have completed your personal profile.
- You have enabled the tutor role, added a profile photo and completed your public teaching information.
- You have prepared the subject, student levels, duration, price, locations and an accurate description.
Steps to follow
Enable and review your tutor profile
Open My listings and expand the Tutor profile card, or use the Tutor section in Profile settings. Enable the role, choose the photo, then complete the location, area, availability and contact details that students may use.
A photo is required whenever you enable or save the tutor profile. If one is already saved, you may keep it; choosing a replacement remains optional.
This information becomes public in your profile and listing context. Carefully check the phone number, email or other methods you enter, and do not publish details you want to keep private.
- Open Profile → My listings → Tutor profile, or Profile → Settings → Tutor.
- Enable the option that allows tutoring listings.
- Choose a photo when the profile does not already have one.
- Save the tutor information before continuing.
Public information
Tutor details and contact methods may appear publicly. Publish only the information you want students to use.
Expected result
The tutor role is active and the Tutor profile card shows the saved information on My listings.
Open My listings
From the profile menu, open My listings. The Tutor profile card appears on the same page above active and inactive listings and their available statistics.
If you select Add listing without a saved photo, the tutor card expands inline. Choose the photo and select Save and continue; the listing form opens after the profile is saved.
- Open Profile → My listings.
- Select Add listing.
Expected result
The form for adding a new tutoring listing opens.
Complete the form with accurate information
Choose the subject, student levels, usual duration, price in RON and every location where you can teach. Then write a description explaining your approach, relevant experience and intended students.
You can keep only one listing for the same subject. If a subject is disabled in the selector, find the existing listing and edit it instead of creating a duplicate.
The description must follow the content policy. Clear hate, threat or sexual-exploitation phrases may be rejected before publication.
- Select the subject and at least one level.
- Choose the duration and enter the price.
- Select at least one teaching location.
- Write a clear description without guaranteed-outcome promises.
One listing per subject
Create separate listings for different subjects. Update the existing listing when you continue teaching the same subject.
Expected result
Every required field is complete and the form can be saved without validation messages.
Save and check the active status
Select the save action once and wait for confirmation. A new listing is created as active, and its card appears in My listings with the subject, price and available actions.
Use the card as a checkpoint: confirm the price and subject, then make sure the listing is marked active before sharing the public page.
- Select Add or Save, depending on the displayed form.
- Close the orientation message shown after the first listing.
- Review the new card in the listings manager.
Expected result
The listing card appears as active and includes actions to view, edit, deactivate and delete it.
Check exactly what a student sees
Open the view action from the listing card. On the public page, review the subject, levels, duration, price, locations, description and available contact information.
Ordinary tutoring listings are published by users. The student and tutor discuss schedule, terms and payment directly for these services.
- Open the public page from the card.
- Check the information on mobile and desktop.
- Return to editing when a detail is missing or incorrect.
Direct arrangement
For ordinary listings, Hola25 provides publishing and contact space. The tutor and student agree the price, schedule and payment directly.
Expected result
The public page shows the same accurate information that you confirmed in the listing form.
Edit, deactivate, refresh or delete
Use Edit when the price, description or teaching format changes. Deactivate a listing when you take a break; it disappears from public search but can be activated later.
The refresh action updates the position of all active listings and has a 24-hour cooldown. Delete only when you no longer want to keep the listing.
- Edit information that is no longer current.
- Temporarily deactivate an unavailable service.
- Use refresh when the action becomes available.
- Confirm deletion only when you no longer need the listing.
Expected result
Your manager contains only current listings, and active listings describe services you presently offer.
If something does not work
I cannot open My listings.
Check that you are signed in and your personal profile is available. You can enable the tutor role directly from the Tutor profile card on this page.
Add listing opens tutor settings instead of the listing form.
The profile does not have a saved photo yet. Choose one in the Tutor profile card and select Save and continue; the photo and tutor profile are saved before the listing form opens.
The subject I want is disabled.
A listing already exists for that subject. Return to My listings and edit the existing listing.
My listing does not appear in public search.
Check that it is active and that your profile meets the displayed requirements. Open the public page directly from its card to confirm the state.
I cannot refresh my listings.
Refresh is available once every 24 hours. The action shows approximately how many hours remain before it becomes available again. If you press it and an error message appears, the refresh did not go through — try again in a few moments.
Frequently asked questions
How do I become a tutor on Hola25?
Enable the tutor role, choose the required photo and complete your public information in Profile → My listings → Tutor profile or Profile → Settings → Tutor, then publish your first listing. County and area can also be set from Tutor account → Settings → Your profile; it is the same value, used by your listings.
How do I publish a tutoring listing?
From My listings, select Add listing. If the photo is missing, complete the Tutor profile card and select Save and continue; then complete the subject, levels, price and locations and save the listing.
Why can't I choose a subject for a new listing?
You already have a listing for that subject — active or deactivated; find it in My listings and edit it instead of creating a duplicate.
My listing isn't showing up in public search. What do I check?
Confirm you have a saved photo, the listing is active and your tutor profile meets the displayed requirements. A pause or restriction can keep the listing hidden after you add the photo.
What happens to my listings if I remove my tutor photo?
After you save the profile without a photo, listings are hidden, while your choice to keep them enabled stays saved. Once you add any photo, they return automatically only when no other pause or restriction applies.
How often can I refresh my listing?
Once every 24 hours; the button shows how many hours remain before it becomes available again.
How many listings can I have?
You can have up to 25 listings in total, counting both active and deactivated listings.
What happens to the listing if I add the same subject on the platform?
Once the subject goes public, the listing for that same subject is permanently deleted and cannot be recreated. Hola25 warns you before you save the subject on the platform; that is the only warning, with no email afterward.
