The teacher starts and controls the tools

The teacher opens Whiteboard and materials or YouTube from the Tools panel. Only the teacher may start, close, or change the active tool. Students see the active tool on the lesson stage without those controls. On the whiteboard, the teacher and connected students may draw by default; the teacher may switch between Students can use the board and Teacher only and keeps the exclusive add-material control.

In a group lesson, connected participants follow the same state sent through the video room. If a tool does not synchronize, check the connection, close and reopen it, then use screen sharing if the issue continues.

When the teacher leaves the room, the shared tool closes. If the teacher's browser disappears unexpectedly, the student's room hides the stale tool locally and returns to participant cameras.

Screen sharing

The teacher may share their screen at any time from the bottom bar, using the Share Screen button. Students may share too, by default; the teacher can stop or restore this from the Students can share their screen switch in the Tools panel. While sharing is stopped for students, their button disappears and an already-running share stops immediately.

Screen sharing is available in desktop browsers; most phone browsers do not offer it and the button does not appear. The shared screen is shown on the lesson stage for every participant and may appear in the recording.

Draw together on the whiteboard

The whiteboard uses the standard Agora Fastboard toolbar, labeled in English. Participants who may edit can use the selector, pencil, text, shapes, the eraser with its clear-page option, board movement, and the laser pointer, change color and width, undo and redo, and navigate pages or zoom the board. The Apps button opens extra applications: a code editor, GeoGebra, and a countdown timer; these load on demand and need internet access. The teacher can choose the shared drawing area format (3:4, 4:3, or 1:1); the dashed outline marks the area visible to everyone. Only the teacher can stop student editing; clearing the page is available to anyone who may edit.

The teacher can choose Hide cameras to use the whole lesson stage for the board without forcing browser full screen. When a document or image is published on the board, cameras hide automatically, since most documents are portrait A4 pages. Controls and Add material stay available, and Show cameras brings the participant cameras back.

The whiteboard is intended for work in the current video session. Hola25 does not provide a saved drawing document or export. Do not enter personal or private data, and do not rely on the board as storage.

The message under the board always states the real state: the whiteboard is synchronized, reconnecting, the connection dropped, or the board switched to read-only. Whenever an error message appears you also get a Try again button; use it before closing the board. For students, the toolbar appears only while editing is genuinely allowed.

Present a document directly on the whiteboard

The teacher opens Whiteboard and materials, chooses Add material, and may select multiple PDF, Word, or PowerPoint files at once. Each file may be up to 25 MB, the complete selection may be up to 100 MB, and one selection may contain at most 20 documents. The list shows each document's progress; after publishing, Show brings the selected document to the front.

Source files upload directly to a private area reserved for the teacher, are passed to the conversion service through short-lived signed links, and are deleted after conversion finishes or fails; automatic cleanup also removes abandoned uploads and reservations. Converted resources follow the provider's separate lifecycle.

For an image or as an advanced option, the teacher may use a public HTTPS link to a JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF, AVIF, PDF, DOC, DOCX, PPT, or PPTX file. Do not use documents containing personal data or content you are not entitled to use. If processing does not finish, check the file type and size or link access, retry, then use screen sharing.

Play a YouTube video

The teacher opens YouTube from the Tools panel, enters a valid HTTPS link, and controls playback, pause, and the video position for the class. Students follow the same state; if the browser blocks autoplay, they can choose to join playback.

If the video cannot be embedded, use the option to open it on YouTube or share the screen. Do not use videos or links you are not entitled to share in the lesson.

Whiteboard recording and privacy

At this time, the whiteboard used from the Tools panel and the content opened on it are not included in the lesson recording. The teacher and students with editing enabled can continue working together on the whiteboard during the live lesson.

The recording may include enabled audio and video, plus content shared separately through screen sharing. Do not enter personal data, private links, or content you are not entitled to use on the whiteboard: it remains visible to participants during the live session.
